Anyone know how to fix this issue plus comment bellow. Other Seagate Xbox Drives. Seagate has a great deal of console oriented drives, not only the Game Drive which I'm testing today. The company also has the Game Drive for Xbox SSD and the Game. When you find the Seagate external hard drive is not showing up in your computer, the first place you should check is Disk Management. You can right click on the Windows button and choose 'Disk Management' from the list. Or press Windows button + R to bring out the dialog. Enter diskmgmt.msc to proceed. .FIX. So i spend over 2 hours reformatting a Samsung 860 1TB SSD for my Xbox One X and nothing worked, almost gave up but then this final small thing worked. I was using an internal SSD used for PC's and a SSD external housing (way cheaper than buying an external SSD) and the external case you get gave me a USB 3.0 wire to connect it, turns out.
Purchase a Samsung SSD 500GB 850 EVO from ebay on the cheap to use with my xbox. Worth it, games load so much faster! Battlefield 1 with it's big maps would take a good minute or two to load, now I'm the first one in the map!

I think you can use any USB 3.0 drive and that should work fine. This is complete waste of money.

times lower. If you look you can see a SSD cutting game load times sometimes by 50% so even if its only half a terabyte its worth it if you want faster load times on your games and extra storage as well.

They now are purposely making low qualit... morei have owned/ used hard disks from most fo these brands..the failure rate of all of them are about the same..tests may have different values..but in real life, i have gotten the maximum value for money with WD...i have a total of 9tb running on WD..and 1tb on samsung, and the drive that sometimes fails to load is the samsung one...on ssds...i use a corsair ssd..so not much to talk on that..but most high capacity hdd inside prebuilt pcs come from seagate or toshiba interchangeably depending on OEM..that said..lenovo is bad..

Dont trust Seagate/WDD with either their HDD/SDD..... They now are purposely making low quality high chance of fail drives to make customer buy and buy and buy, better go for Hitachi/Toshiba drives that have better Quality build and longer life. Kingston/Samsung/Sandisk/etc. are okay too.

What on earth? I own the old Xbox One as well as the new Xbox One S and you can replace the internal Hard Drive on both fairly easily.....
